Forrester Research is reporting that “just 16% of US online adults think that corporate blogs are a trusted source of information”. This is following a prior report into the blogging habits of Fortune 500 companies that found:
56% just republish press releases or already public news, while 70% stick to strictly business topics related to their core product line. ..[and]… that 2/3rds of corporate blogs get no comments.
No. No. No!
Being a succesful blogger is all about building trust, just ask these guys (heh). If you can’t build trust then you may as well forego the entire process of blogging.
